The Ropewalk Printmakers are a group of Artists from Lincolnshire and east Yorkshire, they have been established for 20 years using the Ropewalk Print Workshop Press in Barton on Humber. Many exhibit locally and nationally including the RA and RSA .

They all have their own Art Practice but they come together as a group to work on themed pieces that they exhibit as a group. The exhibition this year is their response to a poem .The poem “Pied Beauty” by Gerard Manley Hopkins is an evocative response to the natural world and in particular plays on the fall of light on nature, this is rich seam and evocative for printmakers and the processes involved.

The exhibition of work includes 22 etchings and relief prints which have been printed by hand on high quality papers.

The work is for sale both framed and unframed.
